Poles and gloves for hiking, alpine and cross-country skiing
The LEKI brand, which is known worldwide today and which mainly produces poles and gloves for outdoor sports, originated in a wood processing company that at that time produced wooden letters for various types of lettering. This business was founded by Karl Lenhardt, an enthusiastic winter sportsman. However, he was always dissatisfied with the ski poles available at the time, which is why he converted his machines and from then on manufactured ski poles himself. That was in 1948, and in the 1960s the poles went into series production. Because of Lenhardt's experience in aircraft construction, he also knew how best to use lightweight materials such as aluminum in his poles. More than 70 years after its foundation, LEKI is often referred to as the world market leader in skiing, hiking, trekking and skating poles. The brand's products combine safety, comfort and elegant design in all their products and the label is in constant exchange with professional athletes and experts to continuously improve their products and keep the market on its toes with innovations.
